This is an extremely colourful area of the Botanical Garden at the very beginning
The walk from the entrance to the museums is beautifully decorated with trees, lawns and roses
There are approx. 140 varieties of roses in 6 categories – depending on the size and number of flowers per branch, length of the stem etc.
There are the special local varieties that can be used to prepare the cuttings for propagation. These are also very fragrant.
Rose plants need lot of sunlight for growth. Should be planted on the southern side of homes
There are interesting roadside trees. Many of them flower beautifully too. Like the Tulip Tree that is also called ‘bandar ki pichkari’ as there is water in the flower buds that can be sprayed.
